Product Introduction
YX-T503 is a high-temperature, corrosion-resistant thermosetting coating formulated with pigments such as titanium dioxide, boron nitride, and reinforcing silica powder. The coating can withstand temperatures up to 600℃, is dense, waterproof, and resistant to aging. It is suitable for reflective heat insulation and corrosion-resistant topcoats, metallurgical high-temperature components, boilers, high-temperature sensor components, ovens, engine exhaust pipes, and other high-temperature corrosion-resistant applications.

Special Note: YX-T503 is a thermosetting product. Products exposed to air should be used within 12 hours. During prolonged construction, cleaning of construction tools should be done to prevent tools from solidifying. It is recommended that one spray or brush coat be completed, and the dry film thickness should not exceed 100μm, otherwise the coating is prone to sagging. High temperature can improve coating hardness and reduce color difference under the same film thickness.

| Surface Roughening |
Before coating, the substrate surface should be polished or sandblasted to remove rust, dust, dirt, etc. adhering to the substrate surface. The optimal level is Sa2.5, and the minimum is St3 grade without scale (GB/T 30790.4-2014). |

Remove residual oil, dust, etc. on the roughened surface with a special cleaning agent or degreaser. |

Laboratory spray coating method: 1.0 caliber spray gun provides better appearance and uniformity. After curing, the coating has a certain hydrophobic and oleophobic property, but it does not affect repeated coating. |

| Curing |
Refer to air spray data. During the curing process, the solvent volatilizes and produces a small amount of ammonia gas. Testing on Q235B plate material shows that curing can be achieved by heat preservation at 230℃ for 1 hour. For complex substrates, the temperature can be increased or the time can be extended. |
High-temperature testing should use temperature-resistant substrates. |
Product Storage
1. Storage must comply with national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, away from heat sources and fire sources. The packaging containers must be kept sealed and carefully placed.
2. This product contains physically adsorbed or chemically bonded ammonia; therefore, sufficient preventive measures should be taken during handling and material processing. This product is water-sensitive and can react with oxidants, alcohols, acids, and alkalis. Maintain appropriate spacing during storage.
3. The storage temperature should be between 5℃ and 30℃, and the shelf life is 12 months.
4. Unopened and unused coatings must be sealed with the lid. If necessary, purge with nitrogen before sealing.
5. Unused mixed coatings cannot be recycled and should be disposed of according to local regulations.
6. Products that have exceeded the shelf life can be used only after passing the inspection.
