Product Introduction:

YX-T506 It is a type of endurance. 600 ℃ Gray-green anti-corrosion silicon-based coating, using polysilazane resin as the binder and compounded with high-temperature color pigments, boron nitride materials, and reinforcing silica powder, is suitable for applications in metallurgy, ovens, boilers, and other anti-corrosion fields.

Special features:

· Excellent adhesion, water resistance, weather resistance, and salt corrosion resistance (neutral salt spray resistance exceeding 1000 hours);

· The single-component coating is entirely composed of silicon-based materials and contains no harmful solvents; it cures at 230℃ for 0.5 hour.

· Silicon-based coatings can withstand direct flame at 1000℃ for a short period and exhibit excellent thermal shock resistance at 600℃ (without cracking under repeated cycles of heating and cooling).

Application areas:

· Corrosion protection for the outer walls of temperature-resistant pipelines, ovens, and boiler equipment;

· Corrosion protection for metallurgical high-temperature components and high-temperature sensor components;

· Corrosion-resistant for temperature-resistant facilities below 600℃.

Construction Instructions:

1 — Substrate Pre-treatment:

· The substrate surface should be free of oil, water stains, dust, particles, dirt, and soft layers.

· It is recommended to grind or sandblast the metal substrate to at least St3 grade, free of oxide scale (GB/T 30790.4-2014).

2 Construction method:

· Coating can be applied by spray coating, dip coating, brush coating, or roll coating; taking air spray coating as an example for illustration:

· Open the packaging container and stir using a spatula or stirring rod. If the sediment at the bottom is easily stirred into a uniform consistency, the product is qualified; it must be filtered through a 100-mesh sieve before use.

· For large-area spraying, use a nozzle with a 1.5 mm orifice; for small-area spraying, use a nozzle with a 1.0 mm orifice. The air pressure should be between 0.15 and 0.2 MPa. The spray spacing should be no less than 200 mm, and the spray direction should generally be perpendicular to the surface being coated. Maintain a consistent gun-moving speed. Before starting work, test and calibrate the coating thickness on a sample board. A dry film thickness of 80–120 microns is ideal.

· During spraying operations, the substrate temperature should be below 50℃, and adequate ventilation must be ensured. Clean the spray gun with a thinner.

· The surface of the paint film should be smooth and even, with no defects such as sagging or pinholes. If the dry film thickness is insufficient, additional spray coats can be applied.

3 · Curing method:

· Place the coated sample in an oven and heat it at a temperature of 230–250℃ for 30 minutes to achieve rapid curing. Use a calibrated film thickness gauge to measure the film thickness and inspect the appearance of the coating film. For calibrating construction parameters

· After construction is completed, cure and solidify at a temperature of 230–250℃ for no less than 30 minutes. For large workpieces, the curing time should be extended to ensure that the surface temperature of the large workpieces can reach above 230℃. Strictly prohibited: Heating in a closed container.

Dilution and Preparation:

Cleaning and Recycling:

Cleaning:

· Construction equipment should be cleaned immediately after use (before the product has cured);

· The cured product needs to be treated with a strong alkaline solution (such as 30% Soak and clean with sodium hydroxide solution or clean by sandblasting.

Recycling:

· The leftover materials from the application of this product must not be mixed with other liquids or solids. They should be collected in a dry, pressure-resistant container (preferably an iron container) and clearly labeled.

·When handling waste containers bearing this product’s label, they must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.

· During transportation, waste containers must be sealed.
