YX-T60X  Room-Temperature Curing High-Hardness Anti-Corrosion Silicon-Based Coating Series

Polysilazane material

Product Introduction:

YX-T60X This is a room-temperature-curing, high-hardness, anti-corrosion silicone-based coating. Its film-forming agent is polysilazane, and it is formulated with pigments, silicate materials, reinforcing silica powder, and other additives. It can be used in applications such as insulation, corrosion protection for salt mining areas, and coastal facilities.

Special features:

· Excellent adhesion, water resistance, weather resistance, and salt corrosion resistance (neutral salt spray resistance exceeding 5,000 hours);

· The two-component coating is entirely composed of silicon-based materials and contains no harmful solvents. Polysilazane cures at room temperature in the presence of moisture.

· Silicon-based coatings can withstand high temperatures of 250℃ for short periods and exhibit thermal shock resistance at 150℃ (without cracking under alternating hot-and-cold conditions).

Application areas:

· Protection and repair of pipeline outer walls, steel frame structures, and metal platforms—suitable for corrosion prevention in salt mining facilities.

· Anti-corrosion areas for coastal machinery such as quay cranes and safety guardrails; insulation areas for electronic components.

· Anti-corrosion coating for the outer walls of temperature-resistant facilities below 150℃, and anti-corrosion treatment for large-scale machinery.

Suitable for hard substrates such as steel, alloys, and ceramics, and exhibits excellent adhesion to most coatings.

Construction Instructions:

1 — Substrate Pre-treatment:

· The substrate surface should be free of oil, water stains, dust, particles, dirt, and soft layers.

· It is recommended to grind or sandblast the metal substrate to at least St3 grade, free of oxide scale (GB/T 30790.4-2014).

2 Construction method:

· Coating can be applied by spray coating, dip coating, brush coating, or roll coating. The original paint should have its viscosity adjusted for air-assisted spray application.

· Open the packaging container and stir components A and B separately using a spatula or stirring rod. If the sediment at the bottom of pigment paste A can be easily stirred evenly, the product is qualified and may be used after being filtered through a 100-mesh sieve.

· For large-area spraying, use a nozzle with a 1.5 mm diameter; for small-area spraying, use a nozzle with a 1.0 mm diameter. The air pressure should be between 0.15 and 0.2 MPa. The spray distance should be no less than 200 mm. The spray direction should generally be perpendicular to the surface being coated. Maintain a consistent gun-moving speed. Before starting the actual application, test and calibrate the coating thickness on a sample board; a dry film thickness of 35–70 microns is ideal.

· During spraying operations, the substrate temperature should be below 50℃, and adequate ventilation must be ensured. Clean the spray gun with a thinner.

· The surface of the paint film should be smooth and even, with no defects such as sagging or pinholes. If the dry film thickness is insufficient, additional spray coats can be applied.

3 · Curing method:

· Place the coated sample in an oven and heat it at a temperature of 160–200℃ for 30 minutes to achieve rapid curing. Use a calibrated film thickness gauge to measure the film thickness and observe the appearance of the coating film. This method is applicable only for calibrating construction parameters.

· After construction is completed, the coating cures by absorbing moisture from the ambient air. The paint film becomes touch-dry in 4 hours, surface-dry in 12 hours, fully dry in 24 hours, and completely cured after more than 3 days. Being in a hot and humid environment after surface drying helps shorten the curing time.

This product contains ammonia that is physically adsorbed or chemically bonded. When handling the material, you should take the following measures: foot Sufficient preventive measures.

Dilution and Preparation:

Dilution: Diluents can include lipids (such as butyl acetate and propylene glycol methyl ether acetate), alkanes (such as heptane), ethers (such as dibutyl ether), and aromatics (such as xylene). You may also consult our company for specialized diluents. This product is sensitive to water and may react upon contact with oxidizers, alcohols, acids, and bases. When selecting the above-mentioned diluents, try to minimize their moisture content as much as possible. Diluting the original paint may increase the risk of sagging in the coating; therefore, minimize the use of thinner as much as possible.

Configuration: A The group is a color paste. B The group consists of polysilazane material, weighed according to the required amount. A B=2 : 1 Once thoroughly mixed, it becomes the original paint. For spraying, it’s recommended to use the original paint directly; if dilution is required for construction, then... 100 No more than [amount] of coating can be added. 20 K solvent—products exposed to air should be... 6 Use up within the hour.

Security and Storage:

·Due to product characteristics, a small amount of ammonia gas may be generated. Paint that has been opened but not fully used must be tightly sealed in its container. If necessary, purge the container with nitrogen before sealing it to prevent the ingress of contaminants and moisture.

· The storage temperature for unopened products should be ensured to be: 30 Below ℃, shelf life is: 12 months;

· The opened product is well-sealed, and the storage temperature should be maintained at: 30 Below ℃, the shelf life is: 6 months;

The storage environment should be dry, cool, well-ventilated, and kept away from heat sources and ignition sources. This product is sensitive to water and may react upon contact with oxidizers, alcohols, acids, and bases; therefore, maintain an appropriate spacing during storage.

Cleaning and Recycling:

Cleaning:

·Construction equipment should be cleaned immediately after use (before the product has cured). A B The mixture remains stable when stored under sealed conditions. 7 Heaven, beyond 7 If the item has not been fully used, it is recommended to dispose of it as scrap.

·Thinners (such as butyl acetate and heptane) can be used to clean residual products from equipment;

· The cured product needs to be treated with a strong alkaline solution (such as 30% Soak and clean with sodium hydroxide solution or clean by sandblasting.

Recycling:

· The leftover materials from the application of this product must not be mixed with other liquids or solids. They should be collected in a dry, pressure-resistant container (preferably an iron container) and clearly labeled.

·When handling waste containers bearing this product’s label, they must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.

· During transportation, waste containers must be sealed.
