Product Introduction
YX-T501 is a high-temperature, corrosion-resistant thermosetting coating formulated with pigments such as copper chromium black, boron nitride, and reinforcing silica powder. The coating can withstand temperatures up to 600℃, and is dense, waterproof, and resistant to aging. It is suitable for high-temperature corrosion prevention in applications such as cookware (lids, rice cookers), metallurgical high-temperature components, boilers, high-temperature sensor components, ovens, and engine exhaust pipes.

Special Note: YX-T501 is a single-component thermosetting product. Products exposed to air should be used within 12 hours. During longer construction periods, cleaning of tools should be done to prevent hardening. It is recommended to complete the application in one coat, with a dry film thickness not exceeding 100 microns; otherwise, the coating performance will decrease. High temperature can increase the hardness of the coating at the same film thickness with less color difference.

Before coating, grind or sandblast the substrate surface to remove rust, dust, dirt, etc. adhering to the substrate surface. Optimal Sa2.5, minimum St3 grade without scale (GB/T 30790.4-2014). |

| Coating Application |
For laboratory spraying, a 1.0 nozzle spray gun is used for better appearance and uniformity. After curing, the coating has a certain water and oil repellency, but this does not affect repeated coating. The total film thickness should be less than 100 microns. |

| Curing |
Refer to air spray data. The curing process is accompanied by solvent evaporation and the generation of a small amount of ammonia gas. Testing on Q235B plate material shows that curing can be achieved at 230℃ for 1 hour. For complex substrates, the temperature can be increased or the time extended. |
High-temperature testing should use temperature-resistant substrates. |
Product Storage
1. Storage must comply with national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, away from heat sources and fire sources. The packaging container must remain sealed and carefully placed.
2. This product contains physically adsorbed or chemically bonded ammonia; therefore, sufficient precautions should be taken during handling and material processing. This product is water-sensitive and can react with oxidants, alcohols, acids, and alkalis. Maintain appropriate spacing during storage.
3. The storage temperature should be between 5℃ and 30℃, and the shelf life is 12 months.
4. Unopened and unused coating must be sealed with the lid closed. If necessary, purge with nitrogen before sealing.
5. Unused, prepared coating cannot be recycled and should be disposed of according to local regulations.
6. Products that have exceeded the shelf life can only be used after passing inspection.
